Caregiving a loved one can be stressful and lonely, even when you are surrounded by family. No one can know what you are going through unless they travel the same road. Find a support group and share your feelings, fears and insights. You aren't alone.
From D. YeagerI thought we had a hard time with my mother and my in-law's Lewy Body dementia. But, no, you win! Wow, that was a hard row to hoe. My mother was often quite harsh (and sometimes more than harsh) but she actually mellowed during her illness. You never know how it will play out. We all just feel our way through the dark, it seems. Your little book shed some light. Thanks.

From my 16 year- old granddaughter, Sophie.I was so enthralled to see your perspective on events that I witnessed with such young eyes. I remembered everything in this story; however, I never saw the depth. Thank you for sharing the vulnerable parts of your heart to the world.

From Jeanette, my very first friend. You wrote a gift! It is a gift to all who must cope with a relative, loved one or friend with dementia. My first thought was I wish I had been there to help you. Such a personal story. And yes, I was one who knew your mother as funny! She's the only mother I know who would hop around on a pogo stick!
